Too Small To See Well December 29, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I thought this would be a fun game for both my daughter and I to play, but it is way too small for me to see well.

For several years now, I've been a very big fan of Mahjong. I don't play it too often, but I did get my DS so I'd have something to do when waiting at the Dr's offices, waiting for people to arrive at places, etc. This was one of the first games I bought for my DS and I have not been disappointed. Even the timer seems to last forever, so that is helpful for keeping the stress level down. The only downfall I can see is that the "classic" mode is not really the classic mahjong I remember, but it's still tons of fun. Even on easy mode, it's still quite challenging.
This is a great game for someone (like me) who has ADHD and cannot stand sitting still for even short periods of time. This was recently proven when I had to go pick up a friend from the airport. We only had to wait about 15 minutes for his luggage to arrive, but it's difficult for me to stay still and not become agitated for that long with my ADHD. This game helped to keep me calm and able to wait patiently.
MarJong Quest December 18, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I like Marjong and thought I would try this game as a diversion from the brain gamesI play daily. I wasn't sure how it would work on the small screen. I was pleasantly surprised it worked fine. There are three main types of games with several levels. The challenges are there with time limits, but I mainly play it without those restrains. Since I am somewhat handicapped, it gives me the practice of eye-to-hand coordination as I enjoy the game. I recommend it for those who like marjong on the run.
Mahjong Quest December 14, 2007 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Wife's a serious fan of the Mahjong-solitaire games. She seems entranced by this one. If you're looking for a "true" Mahjong title - you may want to check elsewhere. Imports may be your best bet.
Not for old folks December 14, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
While the game itself is okay, the tiles are so small that they are barely perceptible for someone with less than perfect vision.
