guitar hero "shredder" by pro jammin January 6, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
this controller was a piece of garbage since i can't use stronger language. it worked for just about ten minutes before it stopped working all together. i wouldn't reccommend it to my worst enemy. the only thing this guitar non-controller might be good for is a wall ornament or maybe if you need a target for skeet shooting. i was so angry that i didn't even bother trying to get my money back.

Looks cool, as a pic only. To small, didnt work, cheap design. I highly dont recomned this POS. There are better ones for the game, this ist one of them. I only recomend this one if you want to rock star it out and slam it onto the floor, thus, shattering it. I would give it a no star, but thats not an option
horrible purchase December 29, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I ordered this item well over a month ago and I never received it. I tried contacting the seller and never got a reply. I reported two claims to Amazon and I eventually got my money back. This purchase caused way too much stress and I never even received it. If I could give this item less than one star I would.
Not my first pick August 10, 2006 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you've played with the original a lot and are looking to find something more sleek in terms of design alone, this is the controller for you. It's got a really nice design and just plain looks cool. Which, unfortunatly, is what sold me.
While it's not a terrible controller, it's not one of the best either. It seems a lot smaller than the original which in itself feels a bit awkward. The frets do, in my personal opinion, have a better feel to them. The strum is a big let down. Compared to the original you have to move the strum a lot further in either direction to hear that click indicating you strummed. It just feels loose. The whammy is only weird to me because the controller is smaller and nothing more. It works fine.
My biggest complaint however would be the use of star power. The controller makes it almost damn near impossible to use tilting it, so you are guarenteed to lose your combo. The select button is my only other option. It's almost like you have to shake the controller just to get the star power to activate. A very very poor defect that I'm really disappointed with.
I love the design, but in my honest opinion I would take another original over this any day. I'm almost afraid to get anything else now. It's not horrible. But it's not great. I hope you found my review helpful.
Good as much as the original one! June 20, 2006 4 out of 15 found this review helpful
I had original guitar, after a couple of use it was broken so I had to buy this version, so far so good, no trouble, too much fun!
