 Great addition to the room, and to the PS3... February 10, 2008
If you want to always have charge in ur controller, meticulous about electronics and want every thing to look perfect then u have to buy this PS3 accessory..
It keeps the controller always charged, tidy and in place, its great quality, and easy to setup...
The only downside it takes a good 10 times to get used on how to plug the controllers into the connections other than that its perfect and if you have PS3 you better buy this base..

It's hard to get the controllers in. Sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's not. When you take out a fully charged controller and you put it back in, it shows red like it's still charging. But it gets the job done. Nice feature wall outlet power source rather than ps3 usb port.

This work great to keep all controllers charged and ready to use! Far better than needing to leave the PS3 on...

When I first purchased this item I was somewhat skeptical about it because of all the scary reviews that I read about people struggling with it endlessly. When I received the charger I found that after I carefully read the instructions I was able to insert the controllers into the base without too much trouble. Sure a little patience is needed, but nothing that will require any extra meditation. Also, my wife (who isn't the most tech savvy person around) figured it out with ease (so now she can play Super StardustHD whenever she wants).
Ultimately this device is well built and is definitely much better than charging your controllers with your PS3 turned on all the time. It feels durable in the hand and I have had no problems with it in the 6 weeks I have had it.
Useful but challenging February 8, 2008
The charge base is a useful product if you don't want to be connected to the PS3 all the time. However, I found it to be challenging to properly connect the controllers to the base. It works as expected. It's just not easy to use.
