5 out of 5 stars Now Your Talking   December 18, 2007
I am not going to back engineer this product. Instead, I am simply going to say that dollar for dollar this is the least expensive (and by far the best) acquisition for my PS3, including the console itself, It actually does what it is designed to do. This charging base has paid for itself many fold over.

Happy Holidays,
Smacka

3 out of 5 stars Nice Add-On - Has Issues   December 15, 2007

The charger is almost an essential add-on; charging your controllers via the PS3 can take time and if you only have a single USB cable, forget it. The charger charges the controllers quickly and doesn't take up a lot of room.

Never once have I gotten the controllers plugged in without an argument. I figured it would be something that would get easier over time as I did it more, but it hasn't. You would think, given how fragile both the male and female components of the USB connectors are, that the designers would have ensured an easy slide in/out, but they didn't.

4 out of 5 stars Nice product for controllers   December 4, 2007
I was finally glad to see this product released. I was tired of putting my controllers tethered off my PS3 and leaving wires all over the place. This is kept separate from my PS3 and allows me to have my controllers charged at all times and neatly put away out of site. I will say be patient when you first get the product. It can be a bit tricky to seat the controller the first couple of times. I am glad if finally came out.

4 out of 5 stars Does the job   December 1, 2007
Well I'm not very good at doing pros and cons so I'll just tell you its good and the only problems I have had is..

1) as previously stated several times now, it is a bit tricky to get the controllers on the charger but after awhile you learn how to do it with ease, I personally hold the controller with thumb and forefinger between the left and right analog sticks and sort of wiggle it on and that works good.

2) I've also have some odd issue with the LED lights, sometimes if I have more than 1 controller on the charger, one or more of the LED's never turns green, even after days of charging. When I check the power level of the controllers in the XBM, it shows full power though so its just a matter of the lights just not changing colors when its done charging, but otherwise it works great.

I haven't had one time in weeks where I have had a controller go dead while playing and me and my kids always have a full set of controllers to play with, so as long as you dont mind a charger thats tricky to use and may or may not have LED light isssues, it works like a charm and I dont regret purchasing it one bit.

5 out of 5 stars Good Product   October 21, 2007

I didn't have the problem connecting controllers to this that some reviewers had, its not exactly easy, but if you work it around for a second or 2 they go right on...this is an easy way to keep track of all 4 of my controllers and to keep them charged...I love it.
