Worth getting, even if you don't have a PS3 August 13, 2008 This is a great keyboard to get - even if you don't own a PS3. I was looking for a wireless keyboard with a touchpad that could be used to control my PC from my couch. The MediaBoard works perfectly for that. It's very light and portable; you can use it from a couch, or a recliner. I've even used it while standing up - holding it in my left hand and using the touchpad with my right.
I've found a couple other uses for this - I also use it for my Windows Home Server and my Xbox 360. Since the WHS doesn't require a keyboard or mouse to be attached, I don't leave one in, but simply bring the USB key and keyboard over if I need to configure something. It doesn't require a driver, so works even in most BIOS setup programs.
One note - since this isn't a PC keyboard, don't expect to find a Windows key. Instead, there are two keys that duplicate right and left click between the Ctrl and Alt keys.
Great Media PC Keyboard August 2, 2008 I got this as a PC keyboard after reading other reviews. It works very well on my windows XP computer I have at the PC for streaming my netflix movies. Very thin, very light, and has great response around the living room.
Nice for PC too July 25, 2008 I recently purchased this keyboard and use for my media center PC and it works great. It is very light and comfortable. The mouse pad could be a little larger and could be troublesome to individuals with large fingers.
Overall a great keyboard.
Works (mostly) with Macs and PCs June 26, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Picked this up to see if it would work with Macs and PCs. While it does (although it's not bluetooth; the Mediaboard Pro is bluetooth), it doesn't have a Windows/Command key, so you'll have to remap another key (say, Caps Lock or Control) on a Mac to use command keys. (System Preferences->Keyboard and Mouse->Keyboard->Modifier Keys).
Keyboard feel is not terrific, and the trackpad is small. Still, works fine as a media remote or for light use, and so for $35 is worth it.
Playstation 3 Cordless MediaBoard Keyboard April 26, 2008 Bought to use for my PC that I have hooked upto my Tv. Works PERFECT! I can use it across the room with no delay or signal failure.
Would recommend it to anyone looking for a all-in-one setup.
A+
