Fun videogame for all ages. Finished it rather quickly, but you have the option to go back and play in challenge mode. Not too difficult even in challenge mode, but it's fun.

great game a bit repetitive beat it twice insomniac should have a patent that turns the skill points that you have from r&c and resistance into achievements no reason not to have something like that click "yes(this is helpful)" if you agree, honestly this is crazy

5 out of 5 stars Rachet and Clank Future:TOD   September 18, 2008
I downloaded a demo of R&C shortly after I got my PS3 and was imediately impressed by the visual look of the game. A very beautiful looking game. I played the demo, and was surprised at how fun it was. So I orderd it. I had never played a Ratchet and Clank game, but that doesn't really matter. If you've never played the series, you won't be lost. This is a new story with the same characters. You'll play as Ratchet, the last know remaining Lombax in the galaxy, with your robitic sidekick, Clank, as you traverse the galaxy battling space pirates, meet a smarmy smuggler, and try to save the universe from impending doom. The gameplay is mostly a third person shooter, but has puzzles and platforming just like its predecessors. The controls are very simple and easy to pick up. There are many differnt and upgradeable weapons and armors and gagets that Racthet will need to use to eliminate enemies and save the universe. If you're looking for a fun romp around the galaxy that is suitabe for everyone, Ratchet and Clank is a great game. Hope this helps!

I like this game because even though challenging it is very very fun. It is worth every penny.

5 out of 5 stars True to all the hype   September 8, 2008
I've owned this game for about a week, and I still love it. I finally beat the game last night, and I'm looking forward to playing it again. The game is long enough that, more than likely, you can't actually remember all of the tricks to get through the levels. There's also plenty of secrets to find that keeps you on the lookout.

The fun really lies in the weapons. The assortment of upgradeable, crazy-but-useful weapons are what gets me excited to keep playing.

At first the game feels a little cartooney, and gives the impression of being easy. This changes as you progress as the game gets quite challenging at times.

This game is highly recommended (even at full price). I look forward to the sequel.
