Expansion Pack? March 19, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
True fans of the series will undoubtedly love this game for everything that it is. What is it? It's a lot of the same as the first Rainbow Six Vegas, with a few tweeks here and there. Graphically, it's not really much of an improvement over the original. The textures and particle effects aren't really anything to write home about, but that's not to say they are bad. It's just that next gen titles should meet a higher bar as time goes by. We do get to see the seedier side of Vegas in terms of strip clubs, back alleys, and the like. The gun play is still a lot of fun and challenging. The ability to customize your character is also a lot of fun. There are a whole host of different multiplayer options for you to choose from. I thought UT3 had a lot, but that's nothing compared to Vegas 2. Because there weren't a lot of other improvements to this edition, it seems more like an expansion pack than a sequel. I would still recommend it.
The best FPS on the market thus far March 19, 2008 3 out of 11 found this review helpful
As good as the first with excellent additions. I love this game and ANY fps fan will love it as well. Excellent play control, love the graphics and this time if you have a xbox live vision camera you're able to load a picture of yourself and play with that character in story mode without being online! My title says it all. The BEST FPS on the market thus far. Army of Two is about to collect dust. But to each their own. If you're not a FPS player then you should pass. Most people now these days find the smallest things to make a complaint or a reason why a game isn't good when overall they just may not be a good videogame player or that particular game just isn't for them. There's a fact that there are players out there in denial about knowing how to play a game and blame the game instead of their skills. There's plenty of shabby games that actually deserve bashing. Then you have companies who make good games but never really change too much. Rainbow Six falls in that category. If it's not broke then don't fix it. Keep it going untill it gets old. "Nuff Said"

Awesome Sequel March 18, 2008 6 out of 25 found this review helpful
A great sequel to a great game, exactly what I wanted, co-op is perfect, its cool that your friends can join in progress. If you are a fan of swat based shooters and want something different then call of duty 4, then you have to pick this game up!!
The Best Game March 18, 2008 I'm going to be honest i've never played the rainbow six series and since all the reviews keep talking about how this game is still looking like the other ones before, i'm not going to sit here and tell you that you all are wrong so i'm just going to say what i think. For me this is the best game out there right now and no reviews that any one of you post it's going to make change my mind, this game for me is a complete game there is nothing missing from single player and multiplayer even though i'm going to admit that i haven't play it on-line but i think, i still think that is the best and specially if you are a splinter cell fan ''like i am''.
