5 out of 5 stars Our controller has arrived   January 4, 2006
I've been "gaming" since the atari 2600. I've seen controllers come and go, but this is the controller we've been waiting for. I'm not even gonna touch the face melting (haha) features like it being wireless, rechargable (with bat pack), and having a remote console on/off feature...that stuff is just icing. I'm gonna focus on the "everyday" aspect of the controller: it's light, ergonomic, the pesky "black" and "white" buttons have moved to a more user friendly position, the rumble actually works in a wireless. take one to a buddy's house and game away..this controller is everything a gamer could want unless you add a Pizza Hut button for instant pepperoni pie. i seriously can't say enough about the design and functionality of this controller

5 out of 5 stars Believe the hype. This IS the best controller ever!   January 4, 2006
After first seeing pictures of this controller, I could tell it would feel great. Add in the hyped seamless wireless and this could be the perfect control. And guess what... it is! The Controller S for the original Xbox was near perfect and was the best controller of its time (especially compared to PS2 and Gamecube). But this new X360 controller blows away even that. It just feels great. There's is nothing else to say. Everything is where it should be and all the buttons you could ask for. Add in the wireless, and you can't find a better controller. This is actually a reason to buy a 360.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent controller   December 26, 2005
Prior to playing with one of these, I was a little taken aback by the $50 price tag.....gotta say, it's worth it. Comfortable, responsive, perfect wireless controller. In fact, the best wireless controller that I have ever used and I've used them for several generations of gaming now.

5 out of 5 stars Xbox 360 Wireless Controller   December 26, 2005
This is definately a must have for people that own an Xbox 360. I have two controllers, both wireless, but only have one battery charger for one controller. But this controller is nice, you can turn it on/off from the controller! And it has a big range so you can be far away from it. Plus no wire tangling trouble which I had alot with the Xbox 1. This is a good controller and worth the price, pick it up!!

5 out of 5 stars Nearly Perfect   December 25, 2005
The wireless 360 controller is everything i have wanted in a controller. After a few minutes of playing you forget it is even in your hands. The S-type xbox controller was great but the black and white buttons were useless in most games due to thier location below the right thumbstick. For the 360 they were moved above the triggers and can now be reached without taking your thumb from the analog stick. This makes perfect sense when you think about how many buttons your right thumb all ready has to access (Y,X,B,A + analog). Besides the new button placement the controller was shrunk down slightly and seems to fit perfectly in large or small hands.
And to top it all of it's wireless, not some laggy 3rd party cheap knockoff either, but identical to its wired counter-part in performance. It feels great to finally be free of cumbersome wires.
