WOW!!!! December 23, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I'm a 73 year old male that has been sim-racing-on-line for eight plus years. I feel this is the best, bar none, wheel for sim-racing EVER!!! If any of you have the Nascar Racing 2003 by Sierra, this is the wheel for you!!!
I wrote the below review for my fellow NR2003 sim-racers. I feel it says it all! Well here it is: It's been 3 months now that I've been using this here Logitech G25 wheel...and I LOVE it!!
Some questions that you might ask me, and my answers:
Q: Did the G25 make you any faster?
A: I can't say it did. But, for sure, NOT any slower! LOL
Q: Did it make you a better driver?
A: I think maybe it might have. But mostly because I want to be a better driver!
Q: Is using a clutch and an "H" shifting pattern hard to get used too?
A: It was at least a week before I really can say I got used to driving using them. But "NO" it was not hard.
Q: Does the wheel feel the same as when you first got it?
A: Yes and no. Yes it is still as smooth and easy to steer and shift now as it was NEW! In some ways easer, because I'm used to it!
Q: Why do you think it's better to have a clutch peddle and an "H" pattern shifting?
A: In one word: "REALISM"!!! But also you can shift from 4th to reverse in one motion, instead of "click", "click", "click" and "clicking" to get there! And my last three words: FUN,FUN, FUN!!!

logitech g25 FF wheel December 18, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
if you have the cash.. .get it! its everything they say it is.
bottom line is i've heard it said by race drivers that a car talks to the driver, with the g25 i could hear :)
sensational feel from the wheel... the pedals are fantastic! the shifter is good, but the options of sequential, H-pattern or paddles is more than enough to offset it somewhat negative light construction.
all in all a satisfied customer here ~
It just doesn't get better than this December 1, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is the best racing wheel on the market. Period. All the other wheels(including Logitech's own MOMO) look like toys compared to this. High quality materials and craftsmanship and the shifter is amazing. Great force feedback. This racing wheel and a copy of GTR2 is all you need to burn some serious rubber. The price is a little higher than what I usually pay for gaming devices but hey you get what you pay for..
Good as they get November 9, 2006 84 out of 89 found this review helpful
I've been driving a Logitech Momo (black) for about 3 years, and loved it. Until now.
This new wheel, pedal, and gearshift set is, in a word, awesome.
With 900 degree wheel rotation, stronger force feedback, a clutch, and gated shifting the level of realism is unbelievable.
Did you ever want to go racing, but couldn't afford the time or cost? With this set and Live For Speed, GTR2, rFactor or (one of these days?) iRacing's as yet unreleased programs you can. And after some practice "in the privacy of your own home," you can go online and race LIVE with folks all over the world. You heart WILL pound and you WILL sweat!
Okay, maybe I'm weird, but at 60+ I still manage to find time to race 10-15 hours a week! And there are no long, tiring drives to the race track, no hotel and food expenses, no long waits for the other classes to get off the track, and no long drive home with a wrecked car on the trailer behind you. An hour behind the wheel is an hour racing.
I have a heart valve problem and there are times I wonder if this is really safe after all!
Finally a wheel with all the features! November 3, 2006 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
I've had a few wheels before, but finally Logitech came out with a wheel thats simulation grade. The 6 speed shifter works great, and as for the clutch, I've found that there are plenty of games that support it, including GTR2 and Need for Speed Carbon thats just coming out. Besides the lengthy setup and steep price, this is a great wheel for a great racing experience.
