A Wonderous Time February 17, 2008 It's a fun fighting game, sure it's no Soul Caliber or Super Smash Bros., but it does have some high points. The combat is extremely addicting and the graphics are stunning in a manga fashion. It's fast paced and the super secret jutsus are fun to watch. It's a fun two player game beating up each other with their favorite characters. There is a possibility of legendary match up such as Sasuke vs. Neji and many different combinations. There are even the same voice actors from the hit show on Cartoon Network. It's a great deal for its price and I can't wait until 3 come out. It'll only get better. If this game came a bit earlier it would have been one of the best fighting game. It has a large fan base and it's still soaring. The mechanics in this game are fantastic. It's a must for any Naruto fan and a good try for any gamer. People just hate on it because its anime based, but it's pretty good. You can't say that you like Naruto if you don't play this game. This is better than it's clash of ninja series and has better heated action. It's also fun for the family.
Awesome game! Very fun and very unique! February 1, 2008 I picked this game up after playing the first one. I really liked the concept of the first game because it's unlike any other fighting game out there. there's a single "attack" button, but it's made up for with each of the other buttons being unique options such as a secret technique that uses your chakra points. the secret techniques are the large chakra powered attacks, while in the mean time, you'll find yourself using other smaller techniques such as Naruto's "Sexy Jutsu" and Sasuke's fire style technique. There's also quite a few unlockables in the first game that keep it quite entertaining. Unfortunately, you find the first game ends quite soon...
That's where this game (the second one) comes into play. You will find this game has more than made up for the short-comings of the first one. It has several new playable characters, unlockables, an RPG element of walking around and completing minigames and missions, as well as an excellent upgrade and customizable feature. Now you're able to unlock other character's techniques and use them on your the character you like best (does not include the secret techniques). I felt this game was definitely worth the price tag compared to the first. If this is a sign of where the series is heading, the third game will definitely be worth looking out for. This is an entertaining and challenging fighting game for both fans of anime/Naruto and casual gamers alike. Check it out!

Another State side let down........... October 7, 2007 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Ahh so finally the Second Naruto Ultimate Ninja Is released in the U.S. And I must say I wasn't impressed with the state side version...............First The Audio is absolutely terrible and scratchy! I hate the English voice overs for the anime, and the games. Second they removed Doto from the game for whatever retarded reason........The Ougi system (How you initiate your ultimate attack) Is rather slow and annoying compared to the newer games, and the Ultimate road ( RPG mode in the Japanes version) was for whatever reason cut short and is missing 3 missions...........In the End this is still a solid game but no were near as good as the Narutimate Hero ( Dubbed Ultimate Ninja in the US) gets.......I just got Naruto Shippuden Narutimate Accel from the good ol Japan. Its got 52 characters.............need I say any more.....................

Great fighting game, it plays just like Super Smash Brothers with Naruto characters. Which is pretty awesome. If you like fighting games like Super Smash Brothers and Naruto the anime, then this game is for you.
