An awesom game June 20, 2007 This game its perfect to play with a lot of friends (or at least 4) the fun its huge. History mode its just like multiplayer mode, a LOT of fun.
good concept + frustrating control = BAD GAMEPLAY June 10, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got to give EA credit for this game. The graphic are the coolest i seen in a while. Sound of up to date, not the best only because i don't like Rap, hip hop, or R&B. A little rock would be cool, but then it might not make sense. There are a lot of unlockable in this game, in fact the most fun i had was dressing up my fighter. The story mode SUCK! How could anyone say the story is good is beyond me. Now this is where i had to take away two star from this game, the gameplay. The grapple is the x button instead of the O button like in the smackdown series. This might not matter if you never play any wrestling games, but if you have already play any smackdown games, the control can be very frustrating. Now imagine switching back and forth from smackdown to def jam, and you get what i mean. Let just say that even if you didn't play any smackdown series, the control layout is still too difficult. Another thing i found in the game that could hurt the game was the limited arsenal of moves. Yeah you get a lot of move to unlock, but it only blazing moves. The most move i see in the game was like 5 front grapple and 1 back grapples. This is a sad excuse on the behalf of the producer. Seriously this game lack moves, and is enough to make the game less fun. Thankfully there is more than enough fighter to suit your need. This game should only be play with another person, if you are looking for a good single player game, look elsewhere.
The BEST Game ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! June 1, 2006 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
This game is the best you should buy it. Even though you don't like Rap or fighting or Wrestling you would love it.I love Rap I even rap never mind that the point is that you would love it.
Pros:
Best Graphics Ever Great Create-a-fighter Longer than Vendetta Great venues Good rappers Great Matches and even more
Cons: Uhhh none so far This game is the best. If you like rock there's Henry Rollins he trains you and you're even able to unlock him.You even get to fight with Bats,Pipes, brooms,Golf clubs, and MORE!!!
Fighters like Xzibit,2 guys from Mobb Deep,Flava Flav,Ludacris,Mack 10,lil Kim,Lil Flip,and MORE!!!
Venues like Gun Hill Garage,Red Room,Crow's Office,Club Murder, club 357 and Club 357 High Stkes, and more I've been seating here for a few minutes and not thought of 1 bad thing about this game.
So if you like my Review you would like the game so if you like you can rent it to see you like it and if you do buy if you dontyou know what I mean so if you buy the game i'll tell you this
e.n.j.o.y. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So much thought went into this game. It covers about everything and then some that you could ever expect out of a fighter. no matter what genre you are into you will have fun with this game. good story, great moves, awsome upgrades for you fighter not to mention the detail in which you can customize your fighter. just buy it, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!
