4 out of 5 stars Logitech Extreme PC Gaming Headset (980233-0403)   November 18, 2008
For the amount that I paid for these units I think I got more than what I paid for
Thank you

2 out of 5 stars Not good enough   November 7, 2008
I bought this for playing World of Warcraft and I'm going to have to get a better headset. This one is comfortable enough for extended play, and the sound quality is good, but the primary reason I bought it was because I needed a microphone as well for talking with my friends while playing. The microphone is either not sensitive enough, or the arm is too short - but whatever the problem is, my friends tell me they can barely hear me even when I have the settings up to full.

2 out of 5 stars Uncomfortable   October 30, 2008
I was looking for a headset to use with skype. The sound quality of this headset was great. However, after about 30 min of wear, the fit was quite uncomfortable and the minimal adjustments it allows didn't make it any better.

3 out of 5 stars Decent for the price   October 25, 2008
I actually bought this headset for my son to use with our PS2, but found out that the input plug is two 1/8" phono jacks (one for the earphones, one for the microphone), not the USB plug I had thought. So I tried using it on my PC for internet voice chat. I feel like the sound quality is fine for normal voice range, but I would not use it for listening to music. The microphone seems to work well and is easy to position near your mouth.

The main problem I had with this set was the comfort. There is a plastic piece that fits over your ears and around the back of your head. I don't know what the thought is here, but for me this is really uncomfortable. It feels like the plastic part is sliding down constantly. And also there is a rough edge on it that digs into your ears. I could not wear it for more than 10 minutes without having to take it off because of the discomfort.

This headset is cheap, so you get what you pay for. Personally, if I were to buy a new headset for internet or gaming use, I would find something that fits over the top of my head or maybe uses some kind of earbuds, has padding for longer-term comfort, and has a USB plug.

5 out of 5 stars It works.   October 20, 2008
It works for me when I need a headset.

- Hasn't broken.
- Provides me with the quality I need.
- Can be uncomfortable to wear if you're looking for something to wear for hours at a time.
