Best FPS YetOctober 29, 2008 This is by far the best FPS game I have played. The campaign was awesome and the multiplayer mode is the best I have played. The game is a very addicting and is a must have game for the 360.

First, I have no complaints about this game - mostly because I haven't seen it yet. I bought this for my nephew and he was so deeply disappointed because it did not work. After speaking to multiple customer service reps at X-Box (who were wonderful) - they determined that Amazon must have sold him a bogus copy even though it read as though it was North American made. Amazon did NOT mention that I would not be able to return this item if it had been opened - how am I supposed to know if it works unless I open it?? Amazon tried to give me a gift coupon for not even half of what I paid - of which I will never use since I will never shop on Amazon again.
COD4 rocks!October 19, 2008 COD4 is the best online multi-player game in a long time. I recommend this game to everyone. A+++++++
Detailed and accurateOctober 16, 2008 Call of Duty 4 is the first break from the standard WWII setting for this series. They did a great job of ensuring both authenticity and increadible graphics. The only downfall is the multiplayer system link system. COD4 can not be system linked with multiple players. Each player must have their own copy of the game and console. This wasn't the case with COD3 and I'm not sure why they changed this feature. We have 3 systems and 3 copies of the game, but we have far more than 3 players. So to play multiplayer we have to go back to COD3 (which is very hard to do once you've gotten used to playing COD4.) Would like to see the split screen system link feature added back in for World at War...we'll see.
Don't expect anything more than just the gameOctober 10, 2008 I bought this game thinking that The Game of The Year edition included the extra map pack for online play. Well they no longer give out the maps free with the Game of the year edition. It has nothing more than the regular edition. The reason why this gets a 4 is only because of it being a gimped Game of The Year. The retail price in stores is also $59.99 and I bought it off here from amazon for $49.99
