 Star Wars Battlefront II August 25, 2007
We have had several Star Wars games,this one
is by far the best. The action and battles are
enjoyed by my video playing sons. Another GREAT

This game is not only the all time best star wars game, but also a great game in all categories. It's so fun, because it has a large amount of computers on the opposing team and yours, so it's like your in a real-time war.

As fun as star wars battlefront was, it had several flaws. For one, there was no way to increase speed, and it often took up to a minute just to get to the fighting, since the command posts were few and far between. The few ships we could fly ended up crashing in seconds. There was no jedi capabilities. Battlefront 2 fixes all of this, and it results in a near perfect game. This is possibly one of the best shooters of all time. Below is a list of pros and cons:
PROS
1)Sprinting-this allows us to get to the fighting quickly, and it really helps when I've got low health and need to escape quickly.
2)Jedi! At last I can soar above the troops and then hit the ground, sparks flying, and tear apart the enemy's armies.
3)Galactic Conquest is much improved. It is no longer a linear take planet after planet type thing. On elite difficulty, playing against a friend, it can take days, with all new bonuses, and it requires you to purchase the special unit classes.
4)Ability to switch between classes at command posts. This is really good. One thing I like to do is when I have low health and I'm near a command post with no health droids, I'll switch to an engineer and release a health/ammo pack, and consume it myself. Then, I'll switch back to my original class.
5)New game modes are awsome. Personally, I hate land assault. Three yodas in the same place is torture for me because I'm a big fan of the movies and beleive that jedi are an elite core-not to be used like regular troopers. Hunt and capture the flag are cool, though.
CONS
1) Space battles suck. You do the same thing every time-hop in a ship, and destroy the enemy hardpoints. Oh, wait! You can hop in the enemy cruiser and destroy the enemy hardpoints internally. Sounds cool right? Wrong! It gets boring really fast.
That's right. Only one con. That's really the only big one, and you can pretty much ignore space battles.

This was an excellent game and i still love to play it on my xbox! Also u get to play as all the people from the movies! Like Darth Maul and Empepor and Darth Vader and many more! Bottom line get this game!!!

Ive had this game for 2 years and ive been playing it more than any other game. It doesnt matter if you like star wars or not. You should really get it. You actually have to use a stratagy in it.
